Team sports and my favorite sports

Today, I tell you about sports [team sports and personal sports].
First, I am not good at playing team sports, for example baseball, basketball or soccer. I like watching on TV or Video rather than playing.Somehow, I am better at playing badminton than other team sports.
When I was university student, I belonged to Rowing club. This sports is required team work and each others comunications to row using oar. If the teamwork is bad, the boat will not move much.I think it's a good team sports!

Then, I like martial arts, for example boxing or K-1.When I watch the game on TV, I sometimes feel my heart is hot. I think there are many exciting games as well as other sports. Is martial arts popular in Korea or America?

Martial Arts are popular in the U.S. When I was young, the movie "Karate Kid" was very popular and everyone wanted to take karate lessons.

K-1 is also becoming more popular in the U.S.. One of my friends in the U.S. loves K-1. His favorite fighter is "Cro-cop".

Tomoki, be careful of sound & spelling. The second "a" sound in favorite is actually an "o".

I don't know martial arts well. But sometimes I wacth the game in TV. Last time I wacthed it's game was the last day of the last year. When I was watching K-1, it looked very pitiful so I was surprised! I think they are incredibly tough!!

Personally, I am in to more passive kinds of martial arts. I really like Tai Chi- very slow moving and calm. I tried some basic courses in Australia, many years ago.
As for watching, I definitely like K1, and take the opportunity to watch it every New Years...Steve
