Funny Mistake

At my apartment, it is usually my job to clean the shower room. I usually use chemicals I buy from the store to clean the bathroom. However, I heard of a new method that does not use chemicals. This new method used vinegar and is an excellent alternative to chemicals.

One day, I decided to try to use vinegar to clean the shower room. I took the bottle from the kitchen and mixed it with water in a bucket and began cleaning. While I was cleaning, I noticed a strong smell. The smell was sweet and very different from the smell of vinegar.

After I finished cleaning the shower room, my wife came home and noticed the strange smell in the shower room. She asked me why it smelled. I showed her the bottle that I used to clean the shower room. She told me that it wasn't vinegar, but was "mirin" which is used for cooking.

It was very funny! But 'milin' and 'vinegar' is similar at appearance but smell is very different. I've heard a vinegar is good for clean too, but I've not done it.
