My Sprained Ankle

A sprained ankle is not the most serious injury but it is very painful. When it happens, your ankle gets really big and it is difficult to walk for several weeks. I have sprained my ankle three times!

The first time I sprained my ankle, I was playing basketball. I jumped to reach the ball and fell on my ankle. It hurt really bad, but I continued to play. I didn't realize until a few hours later what had happened!

The second time, I was walking in a forest early in the morning. I stepped on a small piece of wood sticking up from the ground and fell. I knew immediately that I had sprained my ankle again. And it was the same one!

The last time, I was working at my desk and my foot went numb. When I stood up, I lost my balance and twisted my ankle. Again, it was my left ankle! I hope I don't sprain my left ankle again!
